Had a good day Sunday, went out road around the city with the squad, Party management and Taff-daddy

met up to pedal. Taffy fucked his face up unfortunately, i got laid out earlier in the day as well

(photo below) but all in all it was a good day & We all managed to film some good stunts.

We also stopped by my local watering hole for a Guinness to wrap it all up.

In other events, The Darryl and John have been in town to ride a bit and film

Then Sussan & I went down south this past week and spent some time in Philly & Lindenwold NJ.
Road Philly a bit with Darryl, Tony, Sanches, Joe, Navaz, and some others, Ate a cheese steak,
killed the Starbucks in voorhees, got rained out and came home. all in all it was a good time,
thanks for letting us crash Darryl.

This past feb. i met up with all my boy's from S. Jersey for a re-union tour.... between people growing up, life getting in the way of fun, and Darryl being a traveling pro-trickster, we haven't had the chance to have a good old fashion BadTiming trip in awhile. So after a few years, this past February we got our shit together and migrated south to the great state of Florida with 3 cars and a crew of 8 that consisted of the Legendary Darryl Tocco, Aaron Smith, Geoff Slat., Ryan Vancho, Chris Larson, John Rye, myself (Lee Hopkins), & my lovely GF Sussan.

Here's a quick sum up of the trip, a small amount of riding, a few speeding tickets, some grimy eateries, Lots of beaches, a ton of driving, & a ridiculous amount of Clubs, Drinking, Bar's, Hotel room sessions, random post up's, and cigarettes. I'm not going to get into to much detail because to much info get's people in trouble but here's a ton of photo's i shot along the way.

With all this rain, i've been bored as fuck at work & after watching BaseBrklyn's Nieghborhood super hereos the other night i started going threw a bunch of old videos that i watched when i was younger and all the sections that influenced me over the years. So i figured i'd find the ones i could online and post them up for who ever looks at this thing.

Will Taubin, the part opened up the Base video and was one of my favorites, style is raw as hell, he does his own thing and the last clip is amazing as all hell. Any accidental clips are my favorite.....

Ralph sinisi, the godfather of bmx....

I got a sneak peak of Ralphs section in the new Animal video, and it's amazing. There hasn't been a ton of Ralph footage in awhile cause he's had some shit going on health wise & i'm sure he's busy enough running all his business's but his new section will not dissapoint.

Crimal Mischief, this video changed alot of things when it hit. Not to mention the list of riders that were in it, were unreal. Jason Enns and Van Homan are Legends in my book.

Can I Eat wasn't that long ago but it was damn good.... Edwins part....

No Where Fast, Dave Youngs part, Unreal. If anyone has recent footage of him i wanna see it, that is if he still rides. I heard threw the grape vine hes a Bartender in Cali at a few clubs, and partying it up every chance he gets????

I couldn't Find Hieno's Part from No Where Fast on the world wide wast of time but that ones worth noting.

And last but not least for now a Scerbo part, one because he's good as shit and two because i think and am almost positive that he has the most full length filmed sections in BMX. There should be an award for that. If any body can prove other wise comment up a storm.

Pieces of Off The Map 2 have hit youtube. It took awhile, personaly i thought it would have happened sooner but lets be honest, who really wants to watch me ride anyways. Here's mine along with my boy n/h Aaron Smith. It's cool that its up, least people who havent seen it get an idea of what the video's all about and a good look at The Boston, Northeast Scene. In other new's the Mauls Brawl went well here's a quick video of the action, sorry i didn't make it down to the contest but moneys tight and with the Temp outside the streets were callin. Hopefully kids were happy with the Prizes i know Lino and I got some stuff over there so where it proud. Partymanagment helped hold down the judging and from the looks of things pappus was killing it as usual. Pappus also has some unreal clips in the 90east dvd coming out shortly.

The premier went well, i showed up 30min to late but caught the tail end of the video. I had seen the whole thing before hand, because burns was living at my place for alittle bit while editing, but with everything put together it all made sense. The monster intros for everyone came out good as shit, the riding is unreal, and the random madness mixed in makes the video a riot to watch. I cant imagine anyone not wanting to buy it but for those who are squeemish dont hesitate it's worth youre while. Latly Boston has been wild with bmxer's coming to town left and right, all the college kids moving in for school, people shuffling thier living situations around (rip Kevin B's mission hill party shack), Burns is now living with Kyle & I, all the bone deth guys (Alex liiv, Jamie Mauri, Colt Fake, Ferbert, New york dad RIP, & Crawford) have been around partying up a storm and killing it on there bikes. it's been alot of fun filming this shit and drinking my share.

Alright, it's been almost a month. Some much shit has happened that i dont even know where to start. In the beggining of the month Garrette Reynolds, Steve-o, Colin, Marshall, Jessie came threw Boston for a week. It was wild, from having to knock out a homo, to watching these guys destroy everything they road, it was a good time. I think its safe to say everyone was siked. Once they left Garrette went out and won the X-Games, congrats to him, make that money.

Every one in the city has been out riding all day every day, Filming for Bone Deth, 90 East, and hopefully another buzz creation. Here are some shots of the madness....

After all this I needed a bit of a vaca from my vaca, so my aunt let me use her Beach house in Seaside hieghts new jersey for a week and i picked up Darryl and his lovely GF Jillian and did alittle of this for a week..........

After Darryl couldn't handle any more Jersey Shore we went back to Philly area and went to a Fleet Foxes show. The show was unreal, & def shed some new light on the band. If you havent heard them, i highly suggest giving them a listen.

Then after the show i drove home......while the sun came up.......

The 90 east jam went down sunday, it was a real good time. I think it's safe to say everybody was feelin it, a bunch of people got some prizes from animal, 90east, and OTM dvd's. The box was way better than expected and kids were killing it. I watch a 4 year old kid do hop trucks and tailwhips on command...... I officialy need to quit this bmx thing and find some thing else to pass the time. Garrett reynolds is an alien, he posses bike skills that only a person who signed a deal with the devil can have. Most of the Animal dudes were out for the cause, Tom, Vinnie, Bob, & Navaz made their way up in the animal van. I think Navaz is going to edit something up for Expn or something of the sort. So all in all it turned out well. We left the box at the park so if anyone wants a free grind ledge, go grab it. Thanks to everyone for coming out.

It was a wild weekend to say the least, Saturday started off with meeting this crack head rapper, here's his Youtube joints....

I hit/got hit by a car later that night. Shit was hillarious, my bike got cracked up, and so did the mirror and door on the car. After the dude hit me/i hit the dude, he yelled out the window "yo, you good?" and burned out a million miles an hour. We spent plenty of time at the Other Side, watched some fire works, went to a couple parties, and actualy road bikes sunday and got some things done. Zack was killing it, even tho he lost his shot at 400 dollars.

There is a BIG FOOT RESEARCH center in boston, i can't believe it personaly, the classes on the sign are to much.

Dont forget about the Jam Sunday, everyone should come down. It's going to be a good time, prizes, bikes and alot of posting up.

Well, it's been awhile since my last post, Week before last i spent a bunch of time back in New Hampshire visting friends, & family. My brother is another year older by the calander, congrats to him. A.J. played a mean show last friday night, he had the bar jumpin and everyone was having a good time. Dude played for 2 hours straight it was crazy. We got the "secret park" in H-town riding again, A.j. Chris and I put in a new rail, and there will be an Exclusive web video of the session up shortly. Buzz is going dice the footy up and set it to some music for our viewing pleasure. Here's some pics of the trip....

Well the weather has been crazy, if it isn't cold and windy, its pouring, or so hot you feel like you should be at the beach. Either way the riding and posting up has been on 10 like always. I've been introduced to some of the wildest forms of beer and booze i have ever seen. I've been drinking shit i never would have tampered with until recently. Thanks to Lino's recomendation i found Private Stock 40's. Probly the greatest thing on the face of the earth. I feel like i've tried every cheap beer i can get my hands on and thanks to Holly i've tried more wild ass mix drinks than i know what to do with. Drank some shit called "hottytotty" least i think that's how you would spell it (not that i spell anything corretly anyways). It's tea and wiskey served hot... i dont know how i feel about it still, but it served me right. Burns is back around, Albie is back around, Busby is out in full effect, it should be a hot summer. Lino's been spending a bunch of time chillen and riding, which is always good. Webster Jake was down for the weekend, havent seen him in years so that was good. We were out filming for the 90East joint, shit's gonne be "hot fire".
As always i have a bunch of sketchy cell phone pics that have no riding content, well atleast no riding content to the average bear, to be honest these are probly the most acurate "riding" pictures you'll ever see.....

Long Holiday Weekend....

Another week passes by, & i've been to busy to update this super hip blog spot. So here we go. A few of the Animal guys were in town for the bulk of the week to film for thier up coming video. We mostly road around J.P. but managed to venture out to some East Boston spots that Lino had searched out. Unfortunatly the first day out Vinnie blew his wrist up at a spot, and i blew my foot up later that day trying to re-film something alittle smoother. Aside from all the carnage some good riding, smoking and over all lagging went down. The city is now covered in Skavenger & Animal stickers.

After all those guys left and made the trek back to NYC, i drove my ass back up to my home town for a round of golf & my boy Chris Carr's Birthday party. It was a rediculas time, i got so drunk i couldn't move, 20 of us stormed into chris's parents room at 1am to take shots , Chris & 3 other people got arrested for indecent exposure, & we all woke up to a huge pancake breakfest the next morning. If you were un-aware Chris Carr is a rediculas snowboarder so i figured i post up the trailer from the EB video he was in this past winter.

Alright, so if anyone has looked at this thing it's very clear that i dont spell check or proof read.... Either way this week should be a good one. Some old friends of mine are going to make the drive up from Ridley PA to ride, chill and film for the up coming Animal DVD. So a solid week of riding is in the plans. Here's some old pics i dug up of them.

Also I've slipped the password to Kyle & Busby so you'll get some content worth reading if they get it together and blog up a storm with me. Also tomorrow ill have some blogs up on the local food spots around my area, good deals, & great food. Should be worth a look. I'm off to ride with Jake Frost & Crew around the city today, so maybe ill get some riding shots for once..... till tomorrow ladies....

Weekend venture....

This weekend was a messy one, Friday started off with my friend Addison Chase coming down to the city to hang out and play music, So we sat in copley square for a good few hours bumming for money. We didn't do aswell as the last few times we went out on the street hustle but made enough to buy our PBR's and pay for some crack food. The night turned into more of a drunk fest than i would have imagined but we managed to make it by Timeless Bmx in Cambridge for a Sunday & AOTC dvd premier. Thanks to them for holding the premier & putting up with that many dudes in thier shop.

After waking up at about 5PM Saturday i managed to venture out and attempt to ride my bike. Kyle and i peddaled out to meet Lino & crew in down town. Jesse Williams was tryin to get it in, i fell on my hip doing a 180, and after we all decided to stop trying to be real, we hit the liquor store and made a night of it. here's some shots from the venture, in the mix off all that
Kyle got broke off sitting on a faulty bench. Jesse and Abdou picked up some crazy bitches and rolled them to the cheese factory around the corner. Jesse sat one of em right down on his lap and she was loving every minute of it. Shit was unreal.

After the riding ended, i made my way back to J.P. and the Mcbride st. crew invited me out to a Drinking fountain venture. This bar is actualy the best place on earth, It's cheap grimmy, and way over lit inside. At the ended of the night they actualy lock you in the bar and little you get crazy till they feel like cutting the booze off. My situation was all f***ed i only had $2.50 on me, no ID and my debit card. Needless to say the ID was no issue but the debt card was because cash is king at the drinking fountain. So i scrapped on a PBR for alittle while and soaked in the scene that the place offers. Its def. a social phenomena. Here's some pics of Matt killing it and a shot out side the joint. At the ended of the night Busby made his come back and showed up last minute with non other than Jeff Allen. Now that Buzz is back in the states were gonna get back to the weekend riding, filming, and coffee missions. He also let me in on some ideas for new Busby creations to come.....

Nick Hennigar was kind enough to put in some work and make a few master pieces for the new crib. His art is amazing & speaks for its self. Nick is single handedly the party animal of J.P. and holds it down where ever he goes. He flew out on a jet plane recently for alittle vaca but when he gets back we'll have some shots of him killing the bmx bike...... enjoy...

Since i've moved to the city people have been hyping up the token Sam Adams tour, seeing as how its my favorite beer i was siked to check it out. So i third wheeled it with Kyle and Kate and got it in. I had this huge tour with all the beer i could imagin in mind but the fact of the matter is that you can only get so much for FREE. but we hit the room with all the brew cylinders in it, they fed us a bunch of seeds, then locked us in a room and started shelling out pitchers. Unfortunatly they were only able to serve us three 7oz servings but we got a free glass and i'm not gonna complain about a free tasting. All in all it was a good time and worth your while to get a glass and a free beer

Aight, I'm in the city now and this blog is about to blow up. Welcome to the Orange Line Project, this is my excuse to type a bunch of random shit, show the view of BMX bikes that i know and live, and pray that someone actualy gives a shit what i have to say. follow it, laugh and talk more shit than i can handle. Also, I'm not much for the english language. There will be bad grammer errors, miss spellings and run on sentences.... deal.....

Matt Busby's creation Off The Map 2 just dropped a couple weeks ago, He worked his ass off on it and the Dvd is unreal, other than the fact that he was stupid enough to give me another section.... The riding is top notch and It show cases the people we ride with every weekend, Like super star Aaron Smith, Ryo, Kyle, Burns, Albie, Johnny Herrick (the myth the legend) amungst others and the city of Boston. The copies have been mailed out and should be in stores right now, www.Timelessbmx.com has copies if you havent seen it go grab one & your beverage of choice then sit back and enjoy.

My man (nohomo) Kyle Orrico and I moved into the the J.P., Forest Hills area of Boston the first of last month and it's been a wild scene. I quit my job and plan to take the summer off, ride all day and get drunk all night, So far the plan has been working out perfectly. I've met a bunch of new kids in the city that kill it and remind me of what it was like to have energy again. Also have met a bunch of kids around J.P. that party with the best of them. We've been throwing some house parties at the crib. The other night Lino G and Jesse Williams came threw and chilled. Shit was getting crazy and at the end of the night the 15 er so people there had drank everything in sight, and Ryo finished it all off by drinking the 1 smirnoff ice that no one would touch.... Dont ask.

We've been stumbling across some unreal spots that i've never seen before and look like they have never been touched by the bmx eye. The search is in full effect and once i get my hands on a digi cam ill have some pic's to show some of the action. Ryo and i have been on a nightly riding/shittalking session at the local school. I've put in a ton of work to move shit out of the way and wax the F*** out of every ledge in sight. I would say its one of the best places in the city to ride.

BIG TYMER Darryl Tocco and his beautiful GF Jillian were going to come up this weekend before his pro ass fly's to China but due to Darryl's Car being a total piece of shit he couldn't afford to make the trip. So if you see Darryl's sorry ass scrappin around South Jersey throw him a dollar or two so the kid can eat. He also dropped the news on me that he's going to get real and make another BAD TIMING DVD, So keep your eyes peeled for BT3 in 2010. He actualy thinks i'm going to be able to do something on a bike worth film, i told him not to hold his breathe but im sure he's got plenty of real bike riders lined up to make that shit as official as the last few.

Well there you have it, my first post, i'm off to go play my guitar in Copley and collect dollars from the general public. Here's some random pictures that i took while i've been out and about.
